All supported steering wheels in Forza Horizon 5
Forza Horizon 5 has been built from the ground up to take advantage of advanced features on PC. This includes things like ultrafast refresh rates, ultrawide displays, and many of the steering wheels that are currently available.
Below, you will find a full list of all the supported makes and models that will work with the game.
- Logitech: Driving Force, G25, G27, G29, G920, G923PS, G923XB, Momo
- Thrustmaster: Ferrari 458, T150 RS, T300 RS, T500 RS, TMX, T-GT, TS-XW, TX, TS-PC
- Fanatec: V1, V2, V2.5, CSL, CSL DD, DD1, DD2, Universal HUB device
Additionally, haptic feedback on the Xbox Wireless Controller is supported by all versions of Forza Horizon 5, including Steam for the first time. As you can see, players will have plenty of options and hopefully, any existing steering wheel that you own is supported in the game.
That’s not all that Forza Horizon 5 offers to PC players, however. The Forzavista mode, a special mode for examining the massively details car models in the game, will now allow for raytracing, and the cars look truly spectacular with this advanced lighting method.
Raytracing won’t just affect how cars look in the mode, however. The raytracing engine will also be used to influence how the engines sound in Forzavista, replicating how sound bounces around environments.

There are plenty of brands, whose devices are supported by Forza Horizon 5. It supports wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec, as well as the same robust controller support as seen in Forza Horizon 4.
Logitech Devices
If you are Logitech use, then you have to install the Logitech Software from the website. Because if you don’t do so, the G920 is picked up as a different vendor product identifier (VIDPID) and its functionality in the game is compromised, both for FFB and for buttons/switches. If your Multi-USB Controller is not working
While playing Forza Horizon 5, if you are using multiple devices with separate USB ports, then there is a chance of either them being not recognized by the game, or the game might recognize only one device
What I am trying to say is, your wheel may work, but your pedals may not. In that case, you will have to create a custom wheel profile within the game if you are using multiple devices, or if you have their devices plugged into separate USB ports. The game won’t automatically map them unless they are directly connected.
The developers recommend that:
- You don’t use USB switches
- Use dedicated USB 3.0 ports on your PC
- Avoid unplugging and plugging back in your wheel to USB 3.0 ports
Some wheels have been known to generate an erroneous VIDPID (Vendor ID, Product ID for USB devices) when this happens. In order for your wheel to work properly with the game, it must have the correct VIDPID associated with it.

You might be wondering why we listed two wheels, but there is a solid explanation. Both of these – while identical – are optimized for different platforms. The Logitech G29 is ideal for PC gamers and the G920 is optimal for Xbox users. They have premium quality and feel to them. Both of them are covered with leather and have a 10.5-inch diameter.
For such a premium quality steering wheel, both of them cost around $250 from Amazon. If you are a hardcore fan of the Forza series, getting behind this wheel is absolutely worth it.
Logitech Momo
Another steering wheel by Logitech, the Momo is a wonderful option for PC players. It has a slightly larger diameter than the aforementioned steering wheels and even has six customizable buttons. This allows the player to set the controls according to their preference; giving a greater choice of freedom.
The price is also quite similar to the previously mentioned wheels but it doesn’t come with a clutch pad. However, many players prefer this since Momo designs official racecar wheels as well.
Fanatec Clubsport v2.5
This is the most expensive steering wheel on this list. While it offers top-of-the-line quality and enhances immersion like none other; it prices anywhere in between $500-$700. It has fully customizable buttons on the face of it and there is no input delay. The quality of the wheel justifies the price. If budget isn’t a concern, then there is no other wheel like this one.
