Основная широкоугольная камера iPhone 14 оснащена улучшенной светочувствительностью: ƒ/1.5 против ƒ/1.6. Размеры пикселя увеличились до 1,9 микрометра по сравнению с 1,7 микрометра в iPhone 13. В теории должно быть больше деталей и меньше шумов по сравнению с прошлогодней моделью. Съемка видео все также в 4K и 60FPS, но в iPhone 14 добавили программную стабилизацию видео — Action Mode.
В новинке применяется система Sensor-shift второго поколения — технология стабилизации изображения со сдвигом сенсора.
Появилась аппаратная технология Photonic Engine — улучшает снимки, сделанные при среднем и слабом освещении, использует машинное обучение для обработки фотографий, работает в фоновом режиме.
Фронтальная камера в iPhone 14 по-прежнему 12 МП, но со светочувствительностью ƒ/1.9 против ƒ/2.2 в прошлогодней модели. Добавили автофокус и запись кинематографичных видео в 4K HDR против 1080p в iPhone 13.

iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro
Внешний вид
По габаритам новинка увеличилась в длину на 8 мм, в толщину на 0,2 мм, и потяжелела на 3 грамма. Длина составляет 147,5 мм, толщина 7,85 мм, а вес 206 грамм. Материалы корпуса не изменились, это также сталь и стекло. Фактическая диагональ дисплея, без учета закруглений, увеличилась с 6,06 до 6,12 дюйма. Под этот размер подтянули и разрешение, количество пикселей на дюйм не изменилось — 460 ppi. Рамки вокруг дисплея стали чуть тоньше. И основное нововведение — Dynamic Island. В Apple переработали челку, теперь она в форме овала, что является основным визуальным отличием новинки.
Новый вырез умело обыгрывается различными интерфейсными фишками. Динамический остров является частью интерактивной панели, взаимодействующей с системой.
Размер модуля Face ID уменьшился на 30 %.
Увеличили стандартную и пиковую яркость дисплея — до 1000 кд/м² при стандартном использовании и до 1600 кд/м² при просмотре HDR-контента против 800 и 1200 кд/м² у прошлогодней модели соответственно. Также новинка может увеличивать пиковую яркость до 2000 кд/м² при ярком солнце.
Наконец, Apple в свои iPhone завезли поддержку Always-On Display, когда при заблокированном смартфоне экран продолжает быть активным на минимальном уровне яркости и отображать информацию. При этом частота обновления составляет 1 Гц, минимально расходуя энергию аккумулятора. Управляет этой работой отдельный сопроцессор Display Engine.
В плане расцветок корпуса, купертиновцы отказались от голубого и зеленого цветов, но добавили фиолетовый.
Камера
Главное отличие — это обновленная основная 48-мегапиксельная камера в 14 Pro, снимает она в таком разрешении только в режиме ProRaw. В повседневе используется технология объединения четырех пикселей в один, модуль выдает снимки с разрешением 12 МП, но с улучшенной детализацией и меньшим количеством шумов. Появился режим двукратного зума за счет кропа снимков с 48 МП матрицы. Блок камер немного увеличился по размеру в 14 Pro.
Остальные характеристики сенсоров такие же, как в iPhone 14. Согласно рейтингу DxOMark, в 14-й серии iPhone качество снимков камеры заметно лучше, нежели в прошлогодних моделях.
Железо
В новинке используется новый чип Apple A16 Bionic. По количеству ядер CPU и GPU изменений нет. Обновлена архитектура всех ядер, чип изготовлен по 4 нанометровому техпроцессу против 5 нм в A15 Bionic. Применяется более быстрая LPDDR5 память вместо LPDDR4X, за счет чего пропускная способность памяти увеличилась на 21 %. Частота высокопроизводительный ядер процессора выросла с 3240 до 3460 МГц.
По результатам теста в Geekbench 5, заметно увеличение одноядерной производительности на 7,5 %, а многоядерной — на 18,5 %.

iPhone 13 Pro Max vs iPhone 14 Pro Max
Аналогично 14-й прошке, 14 Pro Max потолстел на 0,2 мм в глубину, высота и ширина остались практически неизменны по сравнению с 13 Pro Max, в весе прибавка составила пару грамм. Толщина составила 7,85 мм, а вес 240 грамм.
Рамка вокруг экрана также стала тоньше, фактическая диагональ дисплея без учета закруглений составляет 6,69 дюйма против 6,68 у 13 Pro Max. Dynamic Island, Always-On Display и все остальные нововведения перекочевали в старшую модель от 14 Pro.
Кроме размера самого устройства, дисплея и емкости аккумулятора, вся начинка аналогична iPhone 14 Pro.
В отличие от общей тенденции 14-й серии, емкость аккумулятора в 14 Pro Max уменьшилась до 4323 мАч, по сравнению с 4352 мАч в 13 Pro Max.

Итоги
Помимо вышеперечисленных отличий, есть вот еще что:
- Во всех новых iPhone обновился Bluetooth до версии 5.3 против 5.0
- Улучшена точность гироскопа и акселерометра
- Новые модели получили поддержку спутниковой связи, она используется для связи со службой спасения в экстренных случаях
- Добавили систему автоматического обнаружения аварий в авто с участием пользователя

- Доработана вспышка: в ней теперь 9 светодиодов, мощность света и его пучок будут меняться в зависимости от фокусного расстояния
- На упаковке iPhone изображен теперь лицевой стороной
Базовый iPhone 14 чрезмерно схож с iPhone 13, никаких интересных нововведений нам не показали. Многие источники сообщают о провальных продажах нового iPhone 14, реализация упала на 70 % по сравнению с продажами стандартной версии iPhone 13 за тот же период времени в прошлом году — покупатели просто не поняли, зачем тратиться на практически идентичную модель.
Дела с Pro версиями обстоят лучше. Тут и новое железо, переосмысленная челка, обновленные сенсоры камер, долгожданный Always-on Display. Продажи iPhone 14 Pro и iPhone 14 Pro Max выросли на 56 %.
Прорыва в линейке, конечно, не произошло, но с учетом выпуска новой серии каждый год, каких-то больших изменений ожидать не приходится.
Apple представила первые айфоны с разъемом USB-C вместо Lightning
Компания Apple на презентации 12 сентября представила новые модели своих телефонов — iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro и 15 Pro Max. Трансляция презентации прошла на сайте Apple.
Одним из главных нововведений стало появление разъема USB-C на всех представленных айфонах. Он заменит Lightning, ранее применявшийся Apple в телефонах. Некоторые другие аксессуары компании, в том числе наушники AirPods Pro 2, также получили USB-C.
Телефоны младших моделей iPhone 15 и 15 Plus получили «динамический остров» (Dynamic Island) — часть интерфейса телефона в верхней части экрана, где появляется разная сервисная информация. Прежде это было только в pro-моделях iPhone. Также младшие модели айфонов получили чип Ultra Wideband второго поколения, что позволяет им в три раза быстрее подключаться к устройствам, находящимся на расстоянии. Кроме того, у айфонов появилась функция изоляции голоса.
Задняя поверхность корпуса iPhone 15 и 15 Plus получила матовое покрытие. Разрешение основной камеры телефонов — 48 мегапикселей. Телефоны младших моделей выйдут в пяти цветах — розовый, желтый, салатовый, синий, черный. Диагональ экрана iPhone 15 составляет 6,1 дюйма, а 15 Plus — 6,7 дюйма.
Телефоны iPhone 15 Pro и 15 Max выполнены из титана, благодаря чему эти модели станут самыми легкими pro-версиями айфонов. В iPhone 15 Pro не будет физической кнопки переключения режимов звука, вместо нее будет специальная кнопка Action Button.
iPhone 15 Pro и 15 Pro Max
Старшая модель iPhone 15 Pro Max получила пятикратный оптический зум с новой телефотокамерой, а также удобную функцию стабилизации, которая должна обеспечить более четкие снимки. В iPhone 15 Pro осталась камера с трехкратным зумом. Старшие модели айфонов также получили возможность снимать 3D-видео для просмотра на шлеме Vision Pro. Доступны четыре цвета — черный титан, белый титан, синий титан и «естественный титан».
iPhone 15 стоит от 799 долларов, 15 Plus — от 899 долларов, 15 Pro — от 999 долларов, 15 Pro Max — от 1199 долларов. Предзаказ на новые модели iPhone откроется 15 сентября, продажи намечены на 22 сентября.
Компания Apple перевела айфоны на USB-C из-за закона Евросоюза об унификации зарядных портов электронных устройств. Закон принят Европарламентом в октябре 2022 года. Согласно закону, все мобильные телефоны, планшеты, камеры и другие устройства, заряжаемые через проводной кабель, должны будут перейти на USB-C к концу 2024 года. С весны 2026 года правило распространят на ноутбуки. По мнению властей ЕС, это позволит снизить количество электронных отходов, поскольку с покупкой нового устройства не будет необходимости приобретать новую зарядку.
