Порталу Wccftech удалось пообщаться с Томом Хитоном (Tom Heaton), являющимся игровым директором хоррора Man of Medan. В своем интервью он рассказал, сколько времени потребуется потратить пользователям на прохождение грядущей новинки.
Как оказалось, чтобы ознакомиться с сюжетом игры, достаточно всего около четырех часов. Конечно, это только приблизительное число, так как в действительности вам может понадобиться немного больше или, наоборот, меньше времени. Журналисты обратили внимание на то, что на прохождение предыдущего проекта студии — Until Dawn, игрокам требовалось потратить примерно восемь часов, а это делает игру практически в два раза длиннее. Однако Хитон парировал это тем, что разработчики хотят сделать упор на реиграбельность проекта, повысив ценность повторного прохождения.
Man of Medan станет первой игрой из антологии The Dark Pictures. Ее изданием займется компания Bandai Namco Entertainment. Релиз запланирован на 2019 год.

Первое прохождение предыдущего проекта студии, эксклюзивного для PlayStation 4 интерактивного хоррора Until Dawn, могло занять до 8 часов. При этом в игре были реализованы различные варианты развития событий и концовки, что также ожидается и в Man of Medan.
Премьера Man of Medan состоится в следующем году на PC, Xbox One и PlayStation 4.

Man of Medan Game Length
A playthrough of the game will likely see players experience a game length of four to six hours depending on how much exploring you partake in. However, the somewhat short length is amplified by the fact that every single character in the title can live or die. This wide range of mortality outcomes for all of the characters means there are several different ends to the horror title.
With this in mind, the actual length can be expanded upon much more with players having the option to go back and experience completely different situations throughout each of their playthroughs. Players could quickly multiply their total time spent playing following their very differing runs through the title.
However, as mentioned before, each of these various playthroughs of Man of Medan will have players experiencing a game length in the four to the six-hour range.
