Естественно, были некоторые ограничения по сравнению с более старшей моделью 5D Mark III, но и аппараты эти были все-таки разных классов. При этом полнокадровый Canon EOS 6D стоил сопоставимо со старшими камерами с кропнутой матрицей.
Прошло 5 лет и несмотря на то, что спрос на «шестерку» вполне устойчивый, приходят мысли о том, что пора бы уже увидеть «Марк 2». И это случилось!
В конце июня 2017 года был официально анонсирован Canon EOS 6D Mark II. Как и прежде эта камера позиционируется как полнокадровая зеркалка начального уровня. Если честно, фраза «начальный уровень» у меня вызывает легкое недоумение, так как полный кадр способен дать отдачу в руках более-менее опытного пользователя, а в авторежиме он не имеет принципиальных преимуществ перед в 2 раза более дешевыми кропнутыми камерами. Лично я бы охарактеризовал модель именно как полупрофессиональную. В «прямых руках» эта камера способна обеспечить профессиональное качество изображения (которое примет любой фотосток и которое можно печатать большим форматом), но «зона комфортной съемки» не такая широкая, как у более старших моделей. К примеру, не такая быстрая серийная съемка, поуже диапазон выдержек, нет пыле-влагозащиты, относительно немного датчиков фокусировки и т.п.
Итак, встречаем Canon EOS 6D Mark II во всей красе:
Первое отличие от Canon EOS 6D, которое бросается в глаза — это наличие поворотного экрана. Когда-то давно я писал обзор 6D, я обратил внимание на отсутствие у него кнопок по левой стороне и предположил, что у следующей модели экран будет поворотный, так оно и случилось 🙂 У Mark II экран не только поворотный, но и сенсорный, хотя этим уже никого не удивишь. Диагональ экрана 3″, разрешение чуть больше 1 миллиона пикселей.
Кроме поворотного экрана, никаких внешних отличий, явно бросающихся в глаза, нет. Разве что чуть поменялось расположение кнопок на задней стороне корпуса.
Внутренняя начинка камеры претерпела более значительные изменения. Что изменилось по сравнению с «первым» Canon EOS 6D? Взглянем на таблицу:
Увеличившееся на 6 мегапикселей разрешение даст незначительный прирост детализации на фотографиях при условии использования качественной оптики — фиксов или профессиональных зум-объективов. Со штатным объективом Canon 24-105mm STM разницу заметить будет непросто.
Небольшое улучшение. Пока нет достоверных данных о максимальном «рабочем» ISO у 6D Mark II, у «первого» 6D оно было довольно неплохое, можно было смело снимать на ISO6400. Будем надеяться, что у «Марка 2» будет еще лучше.
Естественно, чтобы «ворочать» картинку большего разрешения и более качественно давить шумы, нужен процессор помощнее.
Хорошее улучшение! Помимо более удобной и продвинутой фазовой фокусировки появилась поддержка STM-оптики с бесшумным и плавным автофокусом во время видеосъемки. Правда таких объективов под полный кадр пока только два — Canon EF 24-105mm/3.5-5.6 IS STM и два фикса — Canon EF 40mm/2.8 STM и Canon EF 50mm/1.8 STM.
Работает, к сожалению, только при видеосъемке. Хотя, почти все объективы Canon имеют оптическую стабилизацию. Но видеографы должны оценить!

Canon EOS 6D mark II равно как и любая другая полнокадровая зеркалка совместим только с объективами с байонетом EF.
Если у вас уже есть парк оптики Canon, скорее всего, вам этот вопрос не интересен, но если камера покупается «с нуля», то возникает вопрос — в чем принципиальное отличие между объективами 24-105mm STM и 24-105mm L. Ведь разница в цене в довольно значительная — 500 долларов. За что переплачиваем. покупая «эльку?»
Объектив Canon EF 24-105mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS STM это «полнокадровый китовый» объектив. Самый простой и самый дешевый зум (из современных), который можно прицепить к полнокадровому аппарату Canon. Но это не значит, что он «плохой». Этот объектив вполне способен выдать качественную картинку, не уступающий младшим «элькам». Удешевление по сравнению с эльками произошло за счет ряда упрощений конструкции:
- Пластмассовый корпус — дешевле, но менее крепкий и ударопрочный
- Переменная светосила — позволила упростить и удешевить оптическую схему, но вызвает более чем 2-кратное падение уровня экспозиции при зуммировании, заставляя повышать или понижать ISO или сокращать или удлиннять выдержку при зуммировании, если на коротком конце была выставлена диафрагма f/3.5. Наибольшие неудобства доставляет при видеосъемке.
- Отсутствие защиты от пыли и брызг. Вместе с телескопической конструкцией объектив склонен к засасыванию пыли.
В остальном — это вполне нормальный универсальный объектив, очень удобен в путешествиях. Если фотоаппарат покупается «чисто для себя», то вполне можно обойтись именно этим объективом.

Объектив в свое время был очень популярен благодаря неплохому качеству картинки, постоянной светосиле, крепкой пыле/влагозащищенной конструкции и демократичной (до кризиса) цене. Объектив прекрасно прорисовывал 13-мегапиксельную картинку на Canon EOS 5D, но на более новых тушках (5D mark II, mark III) иногда чувствовался недостаток разрешающей способности. Пару лет назад появилась новая версия 24-105L, у которой появился ряд усовершенствований:

Динамический диапазон Canon EOS 6D Mark II
По мере появления в сети информации по данной камере выяснился неприятный нюанс — по динамическому диапазону Canon EOS 6D Mark II заметно отстает от конкурентов Nikon и Sony, а в некоторых случаях даже уступает кропнутому Canon EOS 80D. Графики взяты из публикации Вконтакте в группе You Can Canon.
